Well, from what I know.  The USP can feed modern ammo reliably.  Which
cannot be said for the 1911...

Yes.  Saw a 6 pointer the other day.  Real big bore.  Musta been a
prototype.  I could hear the gritty trigger a mile away.  I scoped it
in and blam.
