I fired up the Paint proggy on win95 did a little creative artistry (HAH) and
turned the resulting pcx into a gif, which I now use on the background, it's
bright and colourful and people tell me it looks good, not bad for 10 minutes
with the paint proggy 8-)

Well, the above worked PERFECTLY. it's given me lovely blue writing on
my home page, and I'm totally impressed with the new opening 8-)

now to do the Avtech pages over.
