I'm glad to hear this too!  I investigated them about 25 years ago when
we were looking at building a multi-hop terrestrial microwave system
down in Mexico where there just plain AINT no power available.
We were contemplating a continuous 250-300 watt load and six month
refueling schedule.  (One site was gonna require a two mile pipeline
just to get the TANK to a place where a TRUCK could go. Otherwise it was
pissant the 1K gallons of LP up the mountain.)
I was really impressed at the time, and have always wished we could try
one at one low drain site whe had on THIS side of the river.  (We didn't
build the Mexican system)

Fuel cells work much better for low load applications. They start to get
large and THIRSTY when you start demanding high current.
I've been wondering if it might not be possible to direct drive a really
compact alternator to a turbine for making low voltage- high current
HIGH-cycle AC.  Anybody thought about that?
