Two reasons:
1) To keep people from seeing the warning message and thinking their echo
is going to be 'gone'.
2) To give the appearence that you do not wait until the last minute to
take care of things.
Considering it takes 60 seconds to setup a robot, I think it is irresponsible
to not do it. Again though, that's only my opinion...
