Hello Terry!

VP/2 supports asm very well,

i.e.

 asm
 push eax
 push ecx
 mov eax,1
 xor eax,ecx
 pop ecx
 pop eax
 end;

You'll have to convert the old 16 bit inline asm code ( although you might
use the db statement, I compiled a program that used db statements for its
instructions ) Though I did not run it, because it was some old extended 16
bit code (66h)

TO> Right now VP refuses to compile some of my doors
TO> and my BBS software into OS/2 code because of the comm routines. :(

You'll need to rewrite the comm routines anyway because you will not be
able to get the maximum performance ( you'll have to go back to polling if
you want to talk directly to the uarts )

David Muir has written a replacement unit for comm routines, mail him.
