Well, from the looks of my logs, it appears that Bob, Alan + Jeff all
successfully connected tonight.  In fact, I even GOT mail from Jeff! I know
this because I can see (and read) some data in /var/spool/news/in.coming.
Unfortunately it isn't getting into the intended newsgroups and then
batched for the rest of you.  I have asked one of my internet friends what
I need to do for that to happen.  Someone (don't know who) sent me a binary
file in there as well, which I doubt very much is going to be processed. 
It wasn't in compressed format, or anything that I recognized, so I'm not
holding out too much hope on it!  Anyways, at least this means that a
sizeable chunk of the system is working!  Sheesh!  Only just though!!!!
