LE>> ***loud annoyance*** What I want to know is, where the hell do you LE>> call in Australia that ACTUALLY KNOWS : DM> If you have world wide web access, go to http://www.developer.ibm.com Sure I went there, I have a user ID and password I obtained when they first added the "soon you're going to need a password" message. The sales facility numbers shown there are for continental USA only. Australia falls into the "other countries" category, "please call your local IBM representative". So it doesn't help me get DevCon here, 132426 knows nothing about anything really curly (not!) like this 8-( 8-( 8-( 8-( 8-(. If you meant, the information I want is there, where should I start to look ? I've given up on that site as far as actually finding anything goes. I'm sure there's a lot of information tucked away in there, but it's impossible to find the bit you want. For example, once in random browsing I found there the OS/2 PM API online in HTML format. Great, but I don't have a fulltime Internet connection (yet). So I thought, "They will also have it in INF format downloadable like the Toolkit has..." No way. Well, a few days later, I went to look for that HTML version again, but it was either gone or unfindable. I've never seen it again since. So I'm still working with the API ref from 2.1 (which comes with Watcom C/C++ 10.6, the latest version). God knows what I'm missing out on. Every time I step more than one or two levels off a top-level page (meaning, the root page of a domain), on an IBM site, I really feel like I've stepped into a dark corner of an old building, which nobody maintains and where no other foot has trodden for centuries. -- Lewin A.R.W.
