AIUI, file_id.diz has a spec for line width and number of lines... the
descriptions shouldn't be too far out of that... it is like 40 or 45
characters wide and some 10 or so lines long... anything more than that is
"out of spec" and should be CHOMPED anyway... IMPO, of course ;)
