Hi Jeff,
I got exactly the same thing with fxuucico on Saturday. It
stalls at the password. I tried everything!
I see that Paul says you sent him mail. What did you do? How did you
get past his password checker?
... later!
AHA! I have suddenly seen the light, as if through a glass, darkly.
fxuucico sends a script, and this was mine...
fx.rSystem: scorpio Any g "" ATZ OK ATD9436-1785 CONNECT \m\c
in--in: Ubobl: mypassword
Finally, I see! The script is just shorthand for Telix scripts that use
WAITFOR whatever
SEND up your nose
The in:--in: Ubobl is telling it to WAITFOR in: (twice) and then
SEND Ubobl... ie WAITFOR the "in:" on the end of Login: !! AHA!
I'm missing assword: in front of my password. I've been telling it
to WAITFOR my password! No wonder it didn't come! This is what I
should have in my script...
fx.rSystem: scorpio Any g "" ATZ OK ATD9436-1785 CONNECT \m\c
ogin: Ubobl assword: mypassword
Bloody hell! I wish is was eight o'clock already so I could try it.
I reckon I've got this Internet UUCP business licked.
Regards,
Bob
