Hello Kris..   Did you ever try the various OS/2 wordprocessors?  I believe 
one of them is DeScribe.
I also host WP (v6.0c) on OS/2 (v 2.1GA).   I only encountered one "major" 
problem after I upgraded my 6.0b to 6.0c.   Even after spending almost an 
hour online with tech support, the Novell-people at the time (and the usual 
"we really don't support OS/2"), we didn't find the solution.   I played 
around with the configs a bit more and simply cranked up the FILES= 
statement.   Only *then* OS/2 and WP6.0c were happy couples.
