I had that happen to my 310 one time, but the 'bang' came from the
front, not the back. What the heck is back there that would
affect the gear?
(The 'bang' was while I was retracting the gear just after t/o,
it was one of the struts breaking when something caught on the
nosewheel door that wasn't open all the way, apparently...)
