Neither SP/2 not VP/2 support the inline() statement from Borland Pascal,
for the obvious reason that these statements insert 16-bit opcodes directly
into the program - this will not work under OS/2.

I would suggest rewriting the routines in Pascal - VP/2 optimizes the
resulting code much better than Borland Pascal and the benefit of writing
it in asm are relatively small.  Alternatively, rewrite it as 32-bit
assembler code in asm.. end statements - this is both easier to read and
easier to maintain.
