| subject: | Re: Printers ? |
-> TW> Perhpas becasue it is the SAME printer only with the Apple Name??? -> Wouldn't suprrise me the early apple dot matrix printers (image writer) -> firmware was epsom compatible but had a serial interface. -> Ihe laser writer was internally a HP laserjet II engine with an Apple -> manufacured (postscript) processor board -> So it'd be no surprise to me if apple was sourcing inkejet mechanisms from -> Canon. I don't think Apple ever made a printer of it's own. And the CAnon Laser engine was very popular. As a side note my HP Laser Printer, A 5P model small business model, even has an Apple Talk port on it. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Shakey Jake's *ALL FREE BBS* Santee, CA (1:202/1324) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 202/1324 10/3 106/2000 633/267 |
