Some have experienced problems with X2 after upgrading, attributed to 
providers who are using "old" X2 code.  Some have experienced a decrease in 
throughput and some have experienced an increase.
Overall, since you tend to hear about "problems" rather than "no problems", I 
believe the majority have benefitted from updating to V.90, though perhaps 
only marginally in most cases.
