I'm 2 hours south of Sacramento in Atwater which is just north of
Merced.  I'm sure glad I don't live in Sac. with all of its levees.  We
have all the irrigations ditches that are being used as storm drains.
There is a mobil home park not to far from here that they've evacuated
that the people won't be able to move back into until June sometime.  I
heard that one of our local lakes rose 8 vertical feet in one day.
Since that lake is over 30 miles long that boggles my mind.
Sunday is suppose to be clear and we are riding.  I have a couple
of Wintec saddles and Muckers to ride through the puddles with.  We'll
leave the leather saddle in the tack room where it won't get wet.  We'll
take dry clothes and goodies for after the ride.
