Hiya Mangas,

Yup sure can. I've got 2 mixers that I run all my stereo gear on so I don't
run whatever I do from the soundcard to the amp (I'd heard in the past that
if you bypass the amplifier, it'll result in better sound quality). I guess
in your case you'd have to go through the amp first then into your tape deck.
(I assume you're using rca's for this).
The way I've been doing it is to run a lead from the soundcard, into the
mixer, from there into an equaliser, and then finally into the tape deck,
montioring either on speakers or headphones. This gives me the advantage of
grabbing recording levels and keeping a watch on those levels to tape without
having to adjust the controls on the tape deck itself. EQ'ing also helps too
as a lot of mod's have quite a bit of top end.
There we are :) Hope this helps :)
Cheers,
Frank
