Hi Jorj,

(Thursday September 17 1998 15:48) Jorj Strumolo to Ted Menks about: Variable ?

JS> I actually think excess %s detract from readability. They may

For those of us that are SURE of never needing command.com, you're right.
Discard any of the %'s and in MOST cases it will still work.

JS> And there's no hope or need
JS> of compatability, given how all the 4DOS functions used would
JS> break COMMAND, and that I don't write for those who use that.

That's all very well, but you're not the only one to reckon with, are you?
I was just considering the person asking for assistance, and since I've
found out that sometimes even *I* need to skip 4Dos, I just felt it to be a
usefull addition.
