DP> I just downloaded DAX (Developer's API Extensions) from IBM's FTP site DP> yesterday. I created the diskettes and installed the DP> package onto my OS/2 Warp DP> Connect machine. I had previously installed syslevel DP> XR_W017 (as instructed by DP> DAX) and the system is running just fine. But, how do DP> I now begin recompiling DP> my WIN32 code for OS/2? I'm using Borland C++ for OS/2 DP> v2.0 and Borland C++ DP> v5.0. There are no header files, import libraries or DP> anything else that I can DP> find on my system. DP> Has anybody else started using this system? What you installed is what one of your customers would have to install to run any Open32 (ie: dax) programs you create. The headers (os2w*.h) and library (pmwinx.lib) are in the IBM programmer's toolkit, which comes with recent copies of the devcon cds. It was also on the Merlin beta cd. The only supported compiler is IBM Cset/VAC++. I have had success with Watcom though. I would not be surprised if Borland did not work. --- Maximus/2 3.00* Origin: Sol 3 * Toronto * V.32 * (905)858-8488 (1:259/414) SEEN-BY: 50/99 270/101 620/243 625/100 711/401 409 410 413 430 808 809 934 SEEN-BY: 711/955 712/407 515 624 628 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 259/414 400 99 250/99 3615/50 396/1 270/101 712/515 711/808 934 |
