Hello All. Does anybody know what the format for *.PKT are. I have been thinking of writing a scanner/tosser for the Windows environment, but I'm not sure how to start. If my understanding of the subject is right, I have to follow these steps: 1. Read the messages from a message base. 2. Make these messages to a common format (.PKT) with the right address, flags and headers. Are there any oter common formats? 3. Compress these packets with a common compression utility (like ZIP) 4. Give them a name - what are the rules for these names? - are there any, or does, they just have to be unique. 5. Send the files with a mailer to the node. Any help will be greatly appreciated, so will source code, references and resources (FTP/WWW) Christian --- GoldED 2.50 UNREG* Origin: Kokain i Kinder‘g - det jo hele 4 ting (2:235/335.22) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/99 270/101 620/243 625/155 711/413 430 934 712/311 407 505 SEEN-BY: 712/506 517 623 624 841 713/317 800/1 @PATH: 235/335 1 7 270/101 712/624 711/934 |
