Yes, that is true. I've been in contact with Sam jr and last I heard he was
getting closer to getting his governor to posthumously pardon Sam sr. It
should have been done while Sam sr was still alive, but posthumously is
better than not at all. A truly tragic case, in one night Sam jr lost both
his parents.
