There appears to be an inquiry by the SEC into Saks for improper collection
allowances. Apparently Saks did an internal investigation that turned up
improper collection from their vendors from 1999 to 2003. This may have an
interesting effect on Saks stocks. If you go to
http://www.lawyersandsettlements.com/case/saks there is some more
information on this inquiry. There is also a free case evaluation for those
who may have been affected during these time periods. I thought this was of
interest and might be of some help.
