Hi Klaus .....
We lost our feed recently (like 10 days), so I've missed
you posting on 'XFile.btm'.
I have a friend in USA who needs to 'clean' up his HD
as part of nightly maintenance (he uses Windows unfortuneaately),
so..... reading your post of how to 'clean' (properley wipe),
residual info on delted files, sounds just the ticket.
Could you either repost it here or perhaps email it to me
as an attachment (to : tpater{at}one.net.au).
I'm using 4os2 mainly these days and as their are effective
tools to wipe HPFS disks (DoD wipe), but as it might be
kewler to have it as part of the nighlty maintence 4os2
routines... it is definitely worth me having this ute of
yours. (I currently wipe 5 times).
I might be able to convince this USA guy to jump into 4dos
at least, (though I'd prefer he use OS/2 along with the HPFS
file system and 4os2).
Many thanks ...... he's desperate.
Regards
Tony
