Orleans is a part of the the super-city of Ottawa.  If you are
familiar with the National Capital Region, before amalgamation, the
region consisted of Ottawa, Nepean, and Gloucester (and outlying
municipalities).  Orleans was a part of the former City of
Gloucester and is located at the extreme Eastern End of the
Super-City on the Ottawa River.
