The bmwd are most likely  bored because after their urging, a good number of
the participants left fn_sysop and moved to FIDO_SYSOP, and they either miss
the conversation or they just want to cause trouble (I think the latter). After
all mikey thinks being head of the ftsc gives him "power", and bjerk thinks the
same because he's editor of fidonews (despite doing absolutely nothing to
encourage submisions and promote fidonews). Along with ward, they appear to
simply be on a 'power trip', if only in their own minds, and drummy is merely a
noisy parrot repeating words he probably doesn't comprehend.  :)
