All:

 I am looking for a cheap COBOL 11 compiler, if
 there is such a thing, for OS/2 or if need be
 dos. Can anyone  recommend one? Is there much
 difference between COBOL 11 and Cobol? I saw
 Visual Age for Cobol, but that is way beyond
 anything I need, can use or afford.

 I know, Cobol isn't too popular, but it is a
 prerequisite to taking a C programming course
 at the local college. I have tried using the
 self-learning method for C++, but not getting
 too far on my own
