BS> ??? I use Telemate 4.20 now, and haven't had a problem with ZModem.

Well... Telemate's Zmodem has a hard time recovering from a CRC error, and DO
NOT recover when data is lost from the UART. Also, the d/l file list is not
sent, so the receiver doesn't have any batch file status, and also, it is
known that some modem cannot u/l (!) with Telemate's Zmodem. Isn't that
MAJOR? I would NEVER use that kind of s***. Even here, peoples complains
about the Windoze version not capable of effectively recover from a CRC error
occuring after a UART data loss.
BS> WinNT's main advantage is stability, but
BS> it's system resource requirements aren't even funny anymore.
And price is high, and the compatibility is even worse than OS/2.
BS> While we're at it. To All: Anyone know of a good, native WPS term
BS> program for OS/2?
ZOC!! get it on ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/os2/comm/zoc212.zip
BS> I highly doubt there is something as good as Telemate,
Depends on your point of view. Telemate phone book is incredible, but Zmodem
protocol, and the non-existent auto-reply macros (very handy you know) are
REALLY down points.
Bye!
