Hello Tom!
Friday July 12 1996, Tom Moore babbled to Greg Cobb:
-> That's good news. I would like to get back to more stuff on recording
-> and acoustics in here. Thanks for info.
I kinda like to get in on the techie side too. AAMOF I worked the Gerald
Levert show (of the O'Jays fame) last night and I earned my money there. :)
These guys had the WORSE stage props and setup of any band I've ever worked
with. :) Most pieces I've put together was collapsable but not these.
We also had the TurboSound Floodlight system. That's definitly some clean
equipment! We went back to the FOH console and get the house sound...the EQs
were flat and the RTA showed about the best curve I've seen in a long time!
That was impressive, but what more do I know? :) They had 17 Crown Micro
2400 amps (I guess that's right) for the monitor mix. It was a good show to
say the least. Oh, they had a Vari-Lite system too. And I thought the
I-Beams were good!
Take Care!
