I have been considering for quite some time learning how to program on a
PC. A major obstacle has been not knowing anything at all about the
field of programming, so here I am appealing to all you pro's :) to
help me find a good beginner's package.
The system I use is pretty limited in terms of ram and graphics - a
Compaq Aero Contura 4/25 with a monochrome (grey scale) moniter, does'
this limit what I should consider? Is the selection of a programming
language based more on the intended use?
