Where do you live?  I am in Toronto, Ontario and some of my bulb plants 
are up at least 3 inches.  We have been given a freeze alert or 
warning.  It has been suggested that all those tender new growths be 
covered with newspapers, mulch or whatever.  We haven't touched ours 
and tomorrow I will se what trouble I'm in.
