As it turned out, mine opened an icon view of the boot drive as well (C: in
this case). Why it didn't do that before, I don't know. Some things on
that system do seem to be working better lately since I ran that config info
program and fiddled with the config.sys file...
Another example of that is the shutdown process. Before, I'd end up with
nothing but a blank blue screen more often than not, and I ended up figuring
that once all apparent (disk and other) activity had stopped that it was okay
to turn it off. Now, I get that message that it's okay to turn it off
within a reasonable period of time. What change did this? Damfino...
