*** Quoting Thom LaCosta from a message to Steven Horn ***

But who cares where we live? The most poinient moment in all Fidonet I can
¨recall, was from a fellow who as his last few hours posted a note on how
much ¨we all meant to one another and how much we had meant to him. He
died ¨literally a few hours later, but his words and soul were something we
as a ¨group have yet to achieve be he believed with all his heart in.
Communication. Soul. Who we really are besides all the trappings, is more
¨than most of us think about except when pressed.
It matters not where the soul I recall came from, nor where the first few
were ¨from. It;s global. Remove the comments on USA as anything specific
as we grew ¨long past that.
