The company in question, PCA, is located in Blakely, Georgia.  The criminals
who run that plant shopped for a lab that would test their products and deny
the presence of salmonella, much like Otto doctor shopped for narcotics.

PCA found a lab that would produce the desired falsified reports and
submitted these reports to the FDA, which is long-established procedure.
When the first salmonella cases were reported (in Connecticut and
Minnesota), the FDA began its investigation into the cause of the outbreak.
Through some pretty good sleuth work, they tracked the contamination back to
the PCA and shut them down.

Never, ever trust Otto.  Never.  Her first instinct is to lie.  She will do
