Hehe.  That, Kflex vs. X2, is all done.
I'll bet a virtual coffee and donut that
the K56flex folks and your ISP are working just
as hard as USR/3Com to get V90 on his equipment.  
That's what service and the V90 standard  are 
all about, of course.  So V90's prolly on there 
now, just waiting for you.
