MS>>Hello All,
MS>>According to my source with these dealings with ZOOM
MS>>Telephonics is full of rubbish! The Claim that it is
MS>>manufactured in Australia and the rest. SHOW ME the
MS>>factory and the authorization from ZOOM TELEPHONICS U.S.A,
MS>>don't start lying just to make a sale Man!
MS>>I've tried to verify this information in the States and all he is, is a
MS>>distributor for Zoom modems and this is if he make the
MS>>target sales in Aust. plus it a shame that Austel has not
MS>>send him any mail regarding to the modems which has been
MS>>advertised without stating it is non-austel approved. Which
MS>>most of us don't know till we purchase the actual modem
MS>>unless we ask.
MS>>The packaging definately sizzle your eyes as it is well
MS>>done by ZOOM Telephonics U.S.A. that might make you
MS>>considering buying the modem but be warned it is NON-Austel
MS>>Approved without ANY warning to the buyers of any sort!
MS>>My experiences in these modem are very good modems but a shocking dealershi
MS>>going on with the way the business is done..so now you
MS>>actually have be warned! So ask if it is actually Austel
MS>>approved and demand the distributor to actually mark the
MS>>package clearly with an non-austel sticker or at least tell
MS>>the public with his advertising stating it is non-austel approved.
MS>> Check it out...don't get me wrong here but if you
MS>>want to sell modems that is non-austel approve, FINE and it
MS>>is LEGAL but let people know clearly either on the
MS>>Advertising or with a actual warning labels! And that is
MS>>the law anyway! Don't hide or start making up silly
MS>>stories like a Factory..!
Mike, If you have proof of this ie. you have purchased one without
Austel approval or sticker WHY don't you take it to the relevant
authorities. They would be most pleased as would everyone else that has
to put up with this shit! Unfortunately there is quite a few of these
wankers floating in these echos and its got me buggered why anyone would
purchase anything off them. Take it further, man!!
