IBM struck deals with Netscape that allowed IBM to use the Netscape
version number current as of the dates the deals were struck, not as of
the date the product was actually released. As a result, by the time IBM
had the product was released, the functional version was well beyond the
version agreed upon. 2.02 was really 3, like 4.61 was really 4.7x.
Because I always see v2 in my email headers, I forget sometimes the
"official" version number.

I have no recollection where I learned how this is done. It uses a text
file of the name sort.dat in the mail subdirectory. Each line is a
filter, in the format:

	targetfolder tab headertofilteron tab casesensitivestring

e.g.:

	Trash	Subject	MONEY FAST
	OS2	To	os2user
