JG> Cut and paste the following to a file named fxuucp.cfg in the JG> directory where you have unzipped fxuucico. I finally worked that out. I even got some mail, including your stuff. BL> And what software do I use to dial Paul up and log on? BL> FX-UUCICO does not seem to have a dialling directory, telephone BL> numbers and that. JG> To dial Paul, change to the directory that you have fxuucico JG> residing in and type: uucico -s scorpio It's really easy... once I worked it out! The dialling directory is actually those other files I'm not game to try yet. JG> Now... ...what mail reader are you planning on using? That's where I'm stuffed. If I use Watergate to create the uucp, I have to use a messagebase... and Watergate looks like a real mongrel to set up (but I like their documentation). What do you recommend as the reader? I can go two ways... write my own reader/gateway, or set up a mini-bbs. It took Paul a month, and I could roll my own in Delphi in that time (it's pretty quick) but I can't find the bloody UUCP standards.
