Jim,
This could be good news for everybody, but especially
for people who want to cut their ties to the electric company.
Not everyone can build their house into the side of a hill
to minimize the need for airconditioning. Normal A/C cooling
requires more power than is practical for most affordable
home power setups. If this pans out, A/C would no longer
be a reason for not converting to home power :)
Maybe they could have an option of the engine running a
small generator for battery charging. Actually that
would probably be standard, but maybe you could pay
a bit more for a bigger generator :)
