BR> Wimpy Fender man. With A Marshall you can get fat tone with a
roomstick
BR> and baling wire...oh sorry, just described a Strat! :)
I can get fatter tone with my Tele and my Showman. :)
Funny thing is that I actually think Marshall tone is really trebly
and thin, even with the presence down and the midrange cranked. I HATE
treble. I've found the same problem with all the JCM800s and JCM900s I've
ever played. However, I do have to say that the JTM45 RI is pretty creamy,
but, if I remember correctly, it wasn't made that long after the Marshall
Bassman. :)
I love a big thump on the bottom end, creamy midrange, and just enough
treble to make a Strat glisten. I get that with my Showman. :)
