Hello, just found this bbs and it sure seems like an active one.  I
am leaving this message in the hope that someone can answer a question
that I have.  I am new to navigation and I understand what a spoil area
is but, if your draft is only 2-3 feet can you sail over these areas?
As on the charts they dont give depths, they just say spoil areas.
  Also does anyone have any other numbers for any other BBS's, I am not
tryiing to be rude to this BBS, but I used to be on a couple of others
but my computer crashed REAL BAD, and took all my numbers with it.
  Just in case you are interested I have been sailing for about 15 yrs
on lakes where I live, and I just got a new boat that is on the coast,
so thats why the nav question.  I just got a Prout Ranger 27 ft cat,its
great.  I also have a 14ft hobie cat, a windsurfer and a monohull 22ft
SEAL.  I have a large family and we all like the water.
