Many websites such as that I use the Desktop site option, actually from my
phone.

But point of fact I haven't actually gone to Google Groups page.  The list
owner added us to the lists when he created them.  

I've never understood going to a website to for a group that I get emails from.
Unless it had a separate file area for shared files.
