The thing is, I don't know if the drive itself is failing, or if it can be fixed by the appropriate mfr's utility. I had one drive that got glitched, and showed me a few "bad sectors" that gave me some trouble until I used some utilities to map them out. And after running the mfr's utility on it everythign was fine.
