BL> Where can I get UUPC? How big is it, and why did it take you a

JG> Have a look for fxuucico.

I thought you were swearing at me for a moment... FXUUCICO to you,
too!

JG> At a guess, I'd say I got my copy from the Simtel ftp site. Let
JG> me know If you can't get it and I'll try to find a copy for
 JG> you.

... later

  I got fxuci1 off the SPCUG (FX-uucico), and it's v1.0 (9/28/94). Is
that right? It's only 40K and $25! Bloody hell... this is my kinda
program!

So that takes care of zmodem... what do I use to dial up and log on?

AND WHAT DOES THIS MEAN...?

... # Your machine name, this is how your host is identified by your
... # neighbours must match their 'systems' (or equivalent) entries.
... # Mandatory entry.

... uucpname : laser

What name do I use for Paul? sigma would be more appropriate than
laser :-) or is that *my* name that Paul has given me?

And what software do I use to dial Paul up and log on? FX-UUCICO
does not seem to have a dialling directory, telephone numbers and that.
If everything else fails I can write one in VB, but what logon protocol
does UUCP use?

Regards,
Bob
