Sounds good, but in all my years of servicing I can't recall a single

time where I've needed to see the PCM - In my experience IR RC's

either Xmit the correct data or they don't xmit at all.. generally

speaking that is.

If I supply the solution, will he guarantee me 50% of his takings?

HHHhmmm... detecting the *beams* could prove difficult... However, as

mentioned in other messages, a videocamera is the easiest way I can

think of to detect the *source* of IR.

Incidently, if he wants this to avoid or bypass IR security systems

then he's not gunna have much luck, 'cos the passive IR sensors that

are most commonly used are exactly that. Passive!. They don't *emit*

IR, they sense it.

Cheers,

Rod
