| subject: | Microwave Oven Dying? |

The panel worked fine, the dang thing just wouldn't heat any more. Control systems aside, there just ain't that much to those things, you've got a big transformer, a magnetron, and a high-voltage diode (that apparently can't be tested with a meter like ordinary diodes can). I'm working my way through a pile of FAQs I snagged that deal with repairing stuff, if I come across any on microwaves I'll let you know. ---* Origin: TANSTAAFL BBS 717-838-8539 (1:270/615) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 270/615 150/220 379/1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
