does WATCOM really require to pass a stack here? neither Borland nor IBM
require this. (only 16bit OS/2 compilers like MS-C6.0a require it, since
16bit DosCreateThread requires a stack pointer).

for the 16bit compilers you have to free the stack.

mh. if its not documented in your compilers doc you have to guess.
_beginthread is a function implemented by WatCom. this is not a standard
function.

For IBM and Borland : you can use it. (so i would guess : yes).

 WARPED!, Mario
