Text size in Mozilla chrome is controlled by css.

Put this in your profile's chrome directory in a file named
userChrome.css:

.bookmark-item {
  max-width: 55ex !important;
  font-size: 7pt !important;
}

Adjust the font-size to suit. I use 9pt.
