Ruth,
RS> house! Bogie's the best conversation I get most of the time around
here.
RS> I'd be lost without him. And when I come in from being gone he says "I
RS> missed you". He tells me he loves me all the time; he plays peek-a-boo,
RS> "Got go to your room". Then when he's in says, "That's a good boy."
He's
RS> by the fish aquariums and loves to watch them and tells everybody how
RS> pretty they are. He gets real interested in anything I'm fixing or
RS> working on and watches very intent ly and says "You fix it?" or "I
ixed
RS> it". He asks "What makes Bogie bad?" and then answers with "Peanuts".
RS> was so smart until I saw the one on TV named Alex (the scientists work
i
RS> th). That really got me. What does yours do besides starting arguments
RS> among the others?
Your Grey is as smart as Alex, the one on TV. You have to remember how much
time goes into teaching Alex. And, that is Alex's job. Let's face it, not
many of us have a bird that works during the day?
Suggie is like your Bogie. He is saying whole sentences, but I have not been
able to figure out what they are. He is not as confident about saying them as
when he is struting around saying "I'm sooo smart." His newest word it
foot".
He is intent on listening to every word I say. It tickles me when I pick up
the phone and the minute he hears it leave the cradle he says "hello". And,
he
really suckers me in when he says "I love you, mama."
He is a winner.
