ATLANTA -- Second baseman Mark Lemke has decided to remain with
the Atlanta Braves.
Lemke decided to remain with the NL champions, accepting the
team's arbitration offer.
Lemke, 31, became a free agent following the season and was
offered arbitration by the Braves before the deadline on Dec. 7.
Lemke started 132 games at second base last season and hit .255
with five homers and 37 RBIs.
He made $1.5 million last season. Terms of the arbitration offer
were not revealed.
