I'm sorry I didn't see your original post, only a reply to to, but I
used to have a Kenwood M2 amp and it had "Sigma Drive".
I got a copy of the schematics for the amp (I'm an electronics
technician) and I found that the "Sigma Drive" is just a marketing
gimick and doesn't really do anything. It is supposed to compensate for
the resistance of your speaker wires, but I don't see what use this is
because the only sollution is to put more power to the speakers anyway.
It reminds me of the older Cameros that used to say "Air Induction" on
the hood. Of course the engine had "Air Induction", all cars (electric
excluded) have "Air Induction" or they wouldn't run.
Or "digital ready" speakers...
