BL> all I need is software to dial Paul up and log on. I can write BL> my own UCP-2-QWK converter in VB and still use BlueWave. ROFL! BL> Overall, that seems the best way to annoy Paul. PE> You're damn right about that. I thought surely this would be a PE> move drastic enough to get you off that brain-dead QWK format. QWK is perfect, it's everything else that's fucked. Jeez... are these Unix uni-wankers sirius? I tried to read RFC-822 again. ROFL! I'll use it as the archetype of university-wank English in one of my novels (how to expand a 20-line definition into 100 pages), but it's dead-useless for anything else. I'd forgotten. It's a long time since I was at uni and had to produce two 30-page reports every week... we just padded half-a-page of genuine thought into 30. And this "compress" they use! It's about HALF as effective as pkzip and twice as slow! ROFL! Whatta pakka wankers. How on earth can you code a compress that's half as fast and half as effective at the same time? That 90K drosebay.z of yours is 60K after compress and 30K after pkzip! I wonder why they bother compressing at all... the modem can do better than that on the fly.
